Blue Rodeo Country Music Duo

Paul Taylor

Paul Taylor

Paul Taylor is the lead singer with Blue Rodeo playing rhythm guitar.

Paul started singing in 1997 after entering “Stars in Their Eyes” competition at Granada studios. Paul successfully auditioned performing songs in the style of Garth Brooks. From 58,000 entrants Paul had a place into the last 70 contestants. Unfortunately Paul didn’t go through to the evening show, however it inspired Paul to set out a singing career.

Paul rapidly became known on the Country Circuit in the North West of England performing songs from his music influences: Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, George Strait and Lonestar to name but a few. His performances led Paul to sing at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Haven Holidays, Fort San Antone, Pontins, Wolvestock festival and clubs throughout the U.K. Paul has performed in America as a guest of a Linedance Club based in Florida, The Beachcombers.

In 2003 Paul recorded his first solo album “Against The Grain” The album was produced by Ethan Allen (The Cheap Seats) at his studio. Ethan accompanied Paul on backing vocals on some of the tracks.

Paul keeps his shows up tempo and fun appealing to dancers and listeners alike.

Keeping with the same format of Country and Linedancing they are performing at venues throughout the U.K.
